Assistant to the CEO
Overview:
As Assistant to our Founder & CEO and Content Creator Liah Yoo, you are highly organized and a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. You want to be the supportive force that empowers our senior leadership. No task is too small or large -- you are a doer. You care deeply about building and growing with a meaningful brand and your primary objective is to provide support to the CEO as directed to ensure that company goals and objectives are accomplished, and operations run efficiently.
Your role at KraveBeauty:
Personal Assistant
- E-mail management (sorting, flagging, basic replies)
- Calendar management (appointment and meeting scheduling)
- Personal errands
- Hotel and flight booking
Administration & Back-Office Support
- Collecting expenses and receipts when needed
- Payroll & payment management: Collect and monitor all the incoming invoices that require the CEO to make the transfer/payment
- Assist in screening applications when needed & Post the job openings on relevant websites
Data Management
- Data mining & finding contacts, email addresses
- File management (organizing files using Dropbox, Drive etc)
Content Creation & YouTube Management
- YouTube analytics reporting
- General content trend reporting
- Assist in copywriting/scriptwriting for contents: Take the general outline of the video and discuss with Liah or the director to verbally format the content
- Manage the workflow with research assistants, director, graphic designer & translator
- Publish videos/contents on relevant platforms: Add links, insert description, basic translation into Korean
Social Media Management: Instagram, Blog
- Manage Social Media Accounts (posting, comments, replies, private groups)
- Create IG stories to maintain & boost engagement (skincare topics, self-care tips etc.)
- Manage the Blog (Basic WordPress Skills, upload, format, publish)
- Upload videos on YouTube
- Insert YouTube description
- Posting to accounts (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter)
- Moderating Social Media Comments

Technical but important stuff
- Previous experience as an executive assistant, personal assistant or other relevant administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with the aptitude to learn new software and systems
- A long-time viewer/subscriber of Liah's YouTube channel
Definite pluses
- Proficiency in Korean
- Based in Seoul or NYC to be able to report directly to the CEO when needed
- Experience developing internal processes and filing systems
Working conditions
- Remote
- Part-time (minimum 16 to 24 hours/week)
