About this position:

As KraveBeauty’s Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Manager, you will lead the charge on growing and scaling our most important channel: our website. The Digital Marketing and Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting ecommerce performance with a focus on content management, customer journey, and sales analytics. Working with the Dir. of Marketing, you will also set the strategy and goals for all digital marketing levers including paid media, search & display advertising, email marketing, affiliate marketing and SEO. You will work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Associate to oversee the execution of paid social media and email marketing campaigns while providing continuous guidance and support to develop your team against their goals.

Create a well-rounded digital strategy that focuses on scaling our e-commerce platforms, tracking and integrating analytics and implementing a robust digital advertising plan.


Your role at KraveBeauty

  1. Ecommerce Management

  • Own the ecommerce parts of the business. You’ll be maintaining our Shopify Plus store and overseeing its growth, optimization, and possible expansion into new geographic markets and retailer e-commerce
  • Utilize data analytics to understand user behaviors, map out customer journeys, and leverage insights to unlock new growth and retention opportunities
  • Implement organizational tools to transform analytical data into digestible insights and actionable strategy and continuously communicate insights back to team
  • Work closely with the Creative Director on designing website layout and content as well as providing direction to continuously optimize customer experience. Work closely with the Social Media Manager on integrated social and influencer content onto website and give customer insight to help inform social content direction
  • Work with external agencies on website design, programming, and coding needs related to software integration, layout updates, and fixing bugs
  • Grow web traffic through SEO from a content marketing and technical SEO perspective

  1. Digital Marketing

  • Oversee digital advertising strategy, setting ad standards and managing content objectives for paid social, and email flows that encourage engagement and growth
  • Work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Associate to work on ecommerce projects and identify and pursue new growth opportunities across all channels and touchpoints, including landing pages, paid social, paid search, social media, influencer marketing, and email marketing
  • Oversee content execution, including organizing the content calendar and project timelines, creating and measuring engagement goals, and execution guidelines for social team members
  • Keep up to date with digital marketing trends and new channels to direct content that feels most relevant and connected to our fans

  1. Management + Administrative

  • Ensure full accountability of tasks and schedules for each team member
  • Create, track, and adjust team’s weekly/monthly/quarterly project calendar as to consistently meet timelines and fulfill requests
  • Manage department budgets, review and approve project budgets
  • Complete and submit all requests including creative briefs or campaign proposals as needed
  • Follow proper channels of communication and approval before proposing/finalizing work

Technical but important stuff

  • 3+ years of experience managing ecommerce, preferably in a startup environment
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and advertising
  • Experience with Shopify Plus required
  • Leadership and team management experience highly preferred 
  • Experience with paid and owned social media and email marketing highly preferred
  • Strong analytical skills; Google Ads, Google Analytics IQ, and Facebook Blueprint certifications preferred
  • Experience with working retailer ecommerce platforms a plus
  • Strong Google Sheets/Excel skills a plus
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
