Senior Manager, Marketing (New York, NY)


As KraveBeauty Marketing Manager, you are an unconventional, strategic thinker who’s willing to get your hands dirty with us. Leveraging your growth marketing skills, you will increase the brand awareness and loyalty. You care deeply about building a meaningful brand, and more so, care about the customer’s pain point and create strategies that tackle the problem. You are a doer than a talker. You will lead and motivate our team with a great purpose, and strong execution skills.

Your role at Krave Beauty:

  • Fully immerse yourself into KraveBeauty’s DNA and manage the voice of the brand
  • Work closely with the CEO to contribute to the development and implementation of brand growth strategies
  • Create compelling marketing campaigns and content that will have a substantial influence on customers and the industry
  • Create innovative strategies, promotions, unconventional activations and nurture the brand as a successful direct-to-consumer business
  • Always, be the ear of the customers and meet the customers' needs
  • Create new customers and cultivate a branding strategy that will increase the brand loyalty
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure and manage dashboards/reports to track campaign success
  • Lead and motivate the team
  • Some operational stuff you’ll manage, too; Oversee daily operations, order management, production, inventory, sales, cost management, office productivity… yes, you are a going to be a VIP of our company

Outward facing roles:

  • Able to present key messages and value proposition Krave Beauty and all its products
  • Can represent the company and be our spokesperson at events when needed

[Technical but important stuff]

  • BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Management or Business preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant experience
  • 2+ years of prior experience in people management and growing a team
  • Beauty Industry experience strongly preferred, particularly working in e-commerce or product development
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

Definite Pluses:

  • Experience in content creation, advertising, and strategy creation
  • Expert knowledge of digital, social content
  • Expert knowledge of direct to consumer businesses
  • Prior experience in a startup environment or SMB
  • Contacts in the beauty industry (people like us and press)
