About this position:

As KraveBeauty’s Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing content marketing and brand partnerships on all social platforms. Your main focus will be coordinating and managing the brand/influencer partnership program on social platforms, including influencer scouting, outreach and relationship management and managing relationships with external content creators, publications, brands and agency partners.  In the future, you will oversee a Content Marketing Associate who you will collaborate with to guide content marketing strategy and execution on all social platforms. Will work on influencer scouting, outreach and relationship management and focus on managing relationships with external content creators, publications, brands and agency partners. You’ll be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager and working closely with the Creative & Design Manager and Digital Marketing Manager.

Create a well-rounded social media marketing strategy that focuses on meaningful and effective content marketing and a robust influencer marketing plan.

Your role at KraveBeauty

  1. Brand Partnership Program + Influencer Marketing
    • Creating and implement a robust brand partnership program to create a pool of long and short-term brand ambassadors and oversee relationships including sponsorships, collaborations, and organic opportunities
    • Create an influencer outreach and development process and map out content calendar in line with promotional and campaign/product launches
    • Manage program budget and agreement including setting financial tiers for content creation, contract and rate negotiation, resource allocation aligned with company goals, and due diligence in honoring external agreements 
    • Work with the Sr Marketing Manager on setting clear content goals and metrics for success for each influencer and the overall program that align with campaign objectives and/or larger company goals
    • Consistently be scouting and recruiting new talent while maintaining positive and beneficial relationships with existing talent including product sendouts, gifting, interpersonal support, and additional relevant perks    
    1. Content Marketing
    • Strategize content direction and guidelines for branded campaigns, product launches, and community engagement projects including content messaging, copywriting TOV, and creative benchmarking 
    • Oversee content execution, including organizing the content calendar and project timelines, creating and measuring engagement goals, and execution guidelines for social team members
    • Keep up to date with social media trends and new channels to direct content that feels most relevant and connected to our fans
    • Create content templates and briefs, including workshops or one-on-one education session, to direct brand partners to create the engaging and effective content that meets our asks
    • Work with brand partners to create and adhere to content posting timelines and ensure relevant details like proper links, accurate descriptions/claims, correct ags, etc. are always included 
    • Work with SMCM to create specific metrics and goals to measure content success and share relevant information with brand partners, especially long-term partners, to encourage collaboration for best performance 
    1. Public Relations
    • Assist Sr Marketing Manager with managing PR partnerships, including paid content and native advertising, and assist with public relations work like desk sides, workshops, feature pitching 
    • Help manage inquiries for press features and coordinate product sendouts, content direction, affiliate sponsorships, and collecting credits 
    • Work with Sr Marketing Manager and operations team to conduct pre-launch perception surveys/tests, seed products, and gifting for all partners

        Technical but important stuff

        • Strong social media exposure and marketing ability across multiple platforms
        • Creative and critical with a drive to create compelling content and storytelling
        • Experience in community marketing and management, especially with an independent or startup brand
        • Experience with social and data analytics tools such as in-app insights, social listening software, content and trend trackers, and advertising analytics
        • Experience with relationship management and exposure to contractual agreement standards and compliance management
        • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with opportunities to create new processes and structures from the ground up
        • Comfortable creating tools to track goals and measure progress, including presenting and communicating progress to others
        • At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media marketing and/or influencer marketing
        • Experience in a leadership or management role strongly preferred
        • Experience with social tracking tools, especially with Sprout Social strongly preferred
        • Experience with Facebook Pixel and paid social media is a plus
        • Experience with a Shopify and Klaviyo is a plus
