A Simple Solution to a Once-Complicated SPF Protection
We’ve all been there before. You’ve completed your skincare routine and now you’re trying to find the right sunscreen so you can get on with your day. But now you’re faced with so many options and too many SPF facts that’re making you, your brain, and your skin go haywire.
Enter Beet The Sun SPF 40 PA+++! We formulated it to remove the barrier that once made us stressed out when thinking about sun protection. With its truly universal formula and full transparency from production to launch, it’s the sunscreen you know that has your back and wants to keep reaching for again and again.

Key Ingredients:
Beetroot Extract: provides anti-inflammatory & antioxidant properties to combat free radicals and UV rays.
Vitamin E: helps reinforce barrier repair and smooths out the look of skin.
Hyaluronic Acid: attracts & retains moisture to keep skin hydrated all day.
Propanediol: helps prevent skin damage & water loss.
Actives:
Homosalate 10% which absorb short-wave UVB rays
Octisalate 5% to help with the water-resistance of the formula and also provide protection from UVB rays
Avobenzone 3% to keep skin safe from both UVB and UVA rays
Octocrylene 3% to capture harmful UV rays before its absorbed into the skin and also has emollient properties
Test Results:
For Beet The Sun we carried out a total of 6 tests: 2 FDA Broad Spectrum Tests, 2 FDA SPF Static Tests, 1 ISO 24444 (2019 version) and 1 ISO 24442. It’s common to only perform these tests once, but we knew it was important for you to be extra clear.
The Broad Spectrum Test and ISO 24442 helps measure UVA protection and results in the “+++” in the PA value. Through these tests, we found that Beet The Sun can protect against 88 to 94% of UVA rays!
The SPF Determination Test (AKA the FDA Method and the ISO 24444:2019) measures UVB protection and results in the SPF rating value. For Beet The Sun, we found the exact rating to be 42 & 43 which fell under our projected 40 SPF rating.

I’ve never used a sunscreen that didn’t break me out and severely sting my eyes. This sunscreen is very gentle and hydrating, and works as far as I can tell! This is the first time in my life I’m able to consistently wear sunscreen.

I'm a huge fan of this sunscreen. I have a dark complexion and there's no white cast! It leaves me with a dewy finish that leaves my skin looking and feeling amazing!!
The only problem is the packaging. If it happens to be knocked over it'll leak out of the lid and leave a little puddle. That was already annoying on its own, however I'm required to travel a lot so the little problem is becoming a big problem. I just returned from back to back trips and I feel like I lost most of my product in the little baggies I have to put it in. I just opened my suitcase to unpack and I was very disappointed with the amount that came out.
So if you're a homebody I highly recommend it! Nothing to worry about. But if you travel often I would unfortunately have to recommend something else.

I was a huge fan of the original Beet The Sun SPF and was super bummed when it got discontinued. When I heard that it was coming by I was beyond excited though a bit worried it wouldn't be as good as the original so imagine my surprise when it was BETTER! This sunscreen is now my holy grail and I refuse to go without it. It leaves absolutely no white cast when it's completely rubbed in and leaves your skin looking glowing and hydrated, but not so much that you look greasy. It doesn't irritate my eyes which is a huge plus in the summer time and makeup goes on perfectly on top of it. I couldn't recommend this sunscreen more, 100/10!
