About this position:
The Marketing Director will take the reins for the overall strategy and success of KraveBeauty’s marketing and communications program directing all aspects of internal and external marketing; brand messaging; content marketing; media relations; event management; and overall brand management. You’ll be overseeing the entire Marketing and Creative department and reporting to the President and working closely with the Founder/CEO to translate the company’s vision and mission into all consumer-facing channels.
Your Roles & Responsibilities at KraveBeauty:
Brand, Product & Content Marketing:

Develop and own the overall Global Brand Marketing strategy, calendar, and implementation, working closely with marketing, product development, creative, external agencies (i.e. PR) and international regional teams.

Drive brand storytelling, development and awareness efforts across multiple channels, ensuring consistent messaging and customer engagement.

Own, drive, and oversee execution of go-to-market plans for evergreen strategies, product launches and new releases. In partnership with Product Development, create compelling product messaging, positioning, and value propositions that resonate with our target customers. Drive the brand’s story over and over across all touch points in unique, clever ways.

Develop and execute disruptive and impactful campaigns — from briefing to launch — for KB to lead in experiential marketing and events with a brand and retail focus, including pop-ups, consumer sampling, influencer + press activations,

Manage and allocate marketing budget for brand across all levers and regions

Oversee and help drive Customer Insight gathering and analysis, ensuring that these insights inform future marketing strategies and team priorities.

Extend the brand’s storytelling across all content mediums, helping inform and drive the overarching content strategy for the brand. This includes identifying key content pillars, establishing new and evolving existing content programming in key channels (ie. social), and measuring the impact of our content efforts in support of our larger business goals.

Lead and own best-in-class partnerships with Global PR agencies, marketing agencies, etc. to build innovative ideas in conjunction with our global partners.
Organic Social, Community & Influencer Strategy:

Oversee content planning, social media strategy, and the growth of organic social media channels such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.

Drive a community first strategy across everything we do. Bringing them into the conversation on product, social and across events. Use the community to tell our story and bring their following and community into our brand.

Oversee and guide an on-brand influencer partnership strategy aligned with brand values, focusing on building and nurturing a community around the brand to generate word-of-mouth buzz and grassroots awareness.

Ensure our seeding program is productive, cost effective, and successful at driving brand awareness and growth.

Ensure the team is cultivating and nurturing relationships with paid and non-paid influencers and brand ambassadors to ensure alignment with the brand’s values and growth goals.
Partnerships & Collaborations:

Develop on-brand marketing partnerships and collaborations, both ongoing and project-based, evaluating inbound partnership, sponsorship, and collaboration opportunities to strengthen the brand's market presence.
Retail Marketing: (once we secure our US partner)

Lead the development and execution of our global retail marketing strategy including all merchandising strategy, promotional activities, and sampling programs with all retail partners

Strategize and develop innovative marketing programs leveraging offline/online/digital initiatives while effectively managing the retailer relationships

Develop retailer-specific strategies and presentations to create strong partnerships, this includes providing educational materials that speak to brand positioning and product education

Manage merchandising updates for to ensure on-time execution and maintain all product assortments and visual merchandising budget

Report on all retail focused campaigns, activations, and performance, creating post-mortem recaps and bi-monthly reports; develop strategy using data to guide brand investments and own the tools/platforms needed to measure success and ROI.
Skills & Abilities:

10+ years experience in integrated marketing, preferably with a focus on beauty and retail

Ability to brief & guide creative in an effective way with both internal and external teams

Thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment without losing sight of the customer experience

Excellent presentation capabilities, including decks, visuals, verbal and written communication

Ability to quickly pull together and analyze data to share strategic recommendation

Strong track record of building marketing teams, nurturing and hiring top-tier talent

Experience developing and managing a marketing budget

Highly organized, with ability to project manage and execute large campaigns/projects from start to finish

Deep knowledge and expertise of eventing and experiential marketing - including pop ups, store events, and live shopping/virtual

Excitement for skincare & beauty industry

Strategic thinker with the ability to clearly communicate a vision

Salary Range: $130,000-$150,000 pending experience level
