Whether you’ve over-exfoliated or got too pump-happy with retinol, GBR is here to lend a calming hand, no bat symbol required.

Tamanu Oil: Soothes irritation and calms redness without greasiness. Niacinamide: Helps clear spots, fades discoloration, and brightens skin. Ceramides: Essential to skin health—helps replenish fatty building blocks of the skin barrier.
The color and texture of Great Barrier Relief may naturally vary slightly from batch to batch. No worries! This is a normal occurrence when using naturally-derived ingredients and it does not impact the efficacy of the formula.
NOTE: Great Barrier Relief does contain 10% Tamanu Oil, which is derived from Tamanu nuts. Though most people don’t have issues using this ingredient, people with nut allergies could have a potential reaction. If you think your skin will react, we recommend performing a 24-hour patch test on your wrist and neck first and slowly integrating GBR into your routine thereafter. If you do experience an allergic reaction, stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention if needed.

I wish this included the strong odor in the description. It smells like maple syrup which is not the worst odor however it's very strong and irritating when it's on your face. If that doesn't bother you, this is a great product - texture and hydration are top. If you're sensitive to odors, maybe reconsider.

As you may have been able to hear from our Founder & CEO, Liah Yoo's product introduction (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_HcZm9OjJ8), the inclusion of Tamanu oil as one of the key ingredients has created the natural scent that does not fit everyone's preference. KraveBeauty also avoids including fragrance in our products as it can cause irritation or reaction on the skin — which is another reason why the natural pungency was not masked!

Absolutely love this serum, bought once forever ago and held off buying another bottle for years because the reviews said the formula changed. Finally thought it was safe again and when I got my bottle I was excited to smell it, opened it like I do with everything else and it absolutely gushed everywhere. Such a great line! I love buying the minis to start the collection & cut costs. I got the mini versions of the whole skincare routine. They are great sizes that will at least a month. They all smell great! Go on wonderfully & absorb perfectly in the skin leaving it nourished & hydrated & dewy!
