About this position:
KraveBeauty’s Brand and Community manager leads all facets of our growing community ecosystem spanning from brand loyalists, creators, ambassadors, skin + sustainability enthusiasts and micro, macro influencers and supports broader brand initiatives beyond partnerships. This position is both high-touch and high-impact, responsible for building and growing a deeply connected brand community that drives awareness, advocacy and long-term loyalty.
As a key contributor to the Marketing team, you’ll oversee the strategy, execution and engagement to continue to build our community-first brand that embodies KraveBeauty’s mission and stands out in a sea of look-a-like programs. You are a creative thinker, excel in operational excellence and own relationship-first leadership. You will have ownership of grassroots efforts, product mailers, events, community partnerships across product and brand activations.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in commercial, social, product and our founder to ensure the KB community is integrated into key moments across the business from new product launches, community meet-ups to experiential campaigns.
Your Roles & Responsibilities at KraveBeauty:
Community Strategy & Engagement:
- Own and evolve the vision for KB’s full community landscape– including ambassadors, creators, and superfans.
- Develop strategies that foster organic connection, brand advocacy, and long-term community retention.
- Lead personalized outreach, surprise & delight programs, and tiered engagement plans that keep the community excited and invested.
- Cultivate authentic, long-term partnerships with creators & community members who love (and live) the KraveBeauty brand.
- Experiment with new ways to involve creators & community members in content production, product launches, and brand storytelling.
Creator & Ambassador Management:
- Oversee ambassador segmentation and creator relationship tracking, ensuring each cohort receives tailored communication and opportunities.
- Partner with the social and commercial teams to identify standout creators from within the community for potential brand partnerships or elevated content features.
- Manage seeding strategies and ambassador product gifting in support of key brand moments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Campaign Execution:
- Work closely with creative, product and social teams to bring community voices into product launches, campaigns, and brand storytelling moments.
- Brief ambassadors and reps with clear, compelling content direction that inspires authentic, on-brand output.
- Ensure all community efforts support larger brand initiatives and marketing goals, including evergreen pushes, to stay consistently in conversation with our target audience.
- Have experience running both small and larger events with a huge appreciation for all of the thoughtful details.
- Experiment with new ways to involve creators & community members in content production, product launches, and brand storytelling.
Influencer Strategy & Campaign Management:
- Part of your role will include sending mailers to key micro and macros influencers that may or may not be an ongoing community member with scale, monthly.
- You will identify, vet and secure influencers who deeply align with KB’s mission, embodying our brand ethos.
- Manage team of interns to coordinate product gifting logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and deliverables in collaboration with legal and operations as key winners are identified
- Review and approve influencer content to ensure brand alignment and messaging consistency.
- Monitor creator deadlines and ensure deliverables are published on time.
- Integrate influencer and community activations into IRL brand experiences.
- Coordinate product gifting logistics to ensure timely delivery.
- Support strategy for co-branded campaigns including but not limited to partnerships, events, etc.
- Cultivate relationships that can be extended and scaled into an Affiliate program using Shopmy.
Reporting & Optimization:
- Maintain weekly and monthly reporting across all community initiatives, including KPIs like engagement, participation, content volume, and sentiment.
- Use performance insights to inform future planning and optimize programs for scale and impact.
- Regularly audit tools and processes to ensure community tracking systems are efficient and effective.
- Manage, support, and develop a team of seasonal interns that share the same passion as you do to help with execution and keeping the program fresh and relevant.
- Set clear goals for each program and ensure team accountability through regular check-ins and performance tracking.

Technical but important stuff:
- 4-6 years of experience in community, influencer, or brand marketing within the beauty or consumer space.
- Experience managing direct reports, with a proven ability to mentor and grow a team. This position starts with hiring, onboarding and managing always-on interns and will evolve into full time help as the brand continues to grow and scale.
- Deep understanding of Gen Z culture and the beauty content landscape.
- Exceptionally strong communicator and relationship-builder– you thrive in a role where people are at the center.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
- Passionate about building meaningful connections and turning customers into lifelong brand advocates.
Job Information:
- Terms of employment: Full-Time
- Salary range: $85,000-$95,000 + bonus
- Location: NYC, in-office 2x/week
