I want to love this sooooo badly. Unfortunately the packaging leaks a lot, both in between the seams of the insert and holder and out of the packaging itself. This is such a good daily use product but I can’t store in anywhere if it’s not upright because of it leaking. I love the reuseable packaging and hope an improved insert prevents leaks.

Other than this the product is stellar. The color and finish is one of the most flattering lip products I’ve ever used. It does truly feel like a skincare product and a bit of makeup in one. I’ve seen a few reviews saying it’s not long lasting, I would recommend anyone looking for longer color payoff tries a lip stain underneath which I’ve found really enhances it! Overall it’s a product I wish I could reach for more than I do as it does need to be reapplied but I can’t bring it with me to do so with the packaging. It’s a stellar product excluding this though!

I've been using this product since February and I wanted to leave a review with my pros and cons list.

Pros:

-Nice color: I got Guava blush and it's the perfect mlbb shade for my skintone (neutral light-medium, Asian skin)

-Sustainable packaging: I love the concept that the applicator is reusable. The metal applicator is also nicely cooling on my lips especially in the summer.

-Hydrating: my lips do feel more hydrated after I put the jelly on. I would not say it plumps on me.

Cons:

-Packaging: Like other reviews on here, my packaging has started to leak and spill product in my bag. I hope the team is able to work on improving this and sends out some for customers who bought to try them.

-Longevity: I do understand it's a lip jelly so not a super long-lasting formula, but I would like the hydration to last longer.

I normally don't write reviews, but I'm writing one because I love the idea of this product, and I wish it could be improved.

This lip jelly oil did not hit the mark. Each of the reasons why I love the product has a downside to it:

1. This lip jelly feels nice and is not sticky on the lip. I like sheer tints, so I love the colors (although I've only purchased the Guava Blush so far), and I don't mind that the color doesn't last. However, the product itself does not stay on your lips. Although I don't expect this kind of lip balm/jelly to last long, I find myself frustrated at having to reapply every hour or so. If I take a sip of water or any drink, the product is virtually gone from my lips.

2. I love the sustainable packaging that this comes in. One of the reasons why I keep coming back to KraveBeauty is because of Liah and the brand's mission to be more sustainable. However, the packaging leaks after a week of use. I find that the packaging leaks if I place it in any position except upright. This means that I cannot just toss this into my purse like I would for my other lip balm/tints.

3. I like the idea of the reusable wand, but you have to manhandle it a little bit for it to come out and to put it back in. I did get some product splatter the first time I used it and pulled the wand out too hard. This is preventable if you are careful, though.
