About this position:

As the Operations & Supply Chain Senior Associate at KraveBeauty, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the supply chain, ensuring efficient product delivery to consumers and retailers. This position requires a strong focus on process improvement, operational efficiency, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners. You will be responsible for overseeing fulfillment, warehousing, global supply chain, retail operations, and logistics while supporting the company’s strategic growth objectives. Your contributions will directly impact the company’s bottom-line outcomes, supporting sustainable growth. Your efforts will deliver seamless company operations, mitigating risks related to timelines, financials, and legal matters.


Your Role & Responsibilities at KraveBeauty:

Fulfillment & Warehouse Management:

  • Fulfillment Management: Monitor fulfillment performance and ensure all orders (D2C, Wholesale, Amazon) are packed accurately and shipped within SLA. Serve as the primary point of contact for CS team at 3PL. Create and deliver clear, concise, and regular reports to promote better decision-making.
  • Warehouse Management: Oversee product flow in and out of warehouses, providing regular monthly status reports and reconciliation plans. Optimize warehousing costs through efficient inventory management and timed PO executions. 

Global Supply Chain Management:

  • Supplier Management: Project manage and collaborate with contract manufacturers and suppliers on turnkey operations. Support product development and procurement teams in managing supplier relationships
  • Purchase Order Management: Issue POs to all vendors based on supply & demand analysis, ensuring timely delivery of overseas inbound shipments to domestic and international warehouses 
  • Freight & Logistics Coordination: Manage all freight and logistics operations between suppliers and 3PL, both internationally and domestically. Support and facilitate supply chain development, product development, and business operations projects to ensure successful completion.

​​Retail Operations:

  • In-Store Inventory Management: Coordinate with retail partners to ensure optimal stock levels in stores. Monitor in-store inventory and work to minimize out-of-stock situations.
  • Retail Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics for product distribution to retail partners (e.g., Amazon, Cult Beauty, Sephora), ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Collaborate with the logistics team to address and resolve distribution issues.
  • Customs Documentation Management: Ensure accurate documentation is provided to all freight forwarders, and international retailers, such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Product Information, BOLs, and SLIs. 

Operations:

  • Operational Infrastructure: Establish and maintain best-in-class operational infrastructure to allow for scaling, international expansion, cost optimization, and high-quality delivery, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Supply & Demand Planning: Play an active role in assisting the Head of Finance & Operations with efficient inventory forecasting for all sales channels. Create processes for timing manufacturer POs based on the demand forecasts. 
  • Inventory Management: Ensure timely PO submissions to maintain continuous inventory flow. Collaborate to balance inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence. Prevent out-of-stock situations in all sales channels and optimize inventory turnover to reduce carrying costs.

        Technical but important stuff 

        • Experience in D2C and Retail e-commerce operations (beauty is a plus!)
        • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with opportunities to create new processes and structures from the ground up 
        • Comfortable creating tools to track goals and measure progress, including presenting and communicating progress to others 
        • Experience in working with multiple vendors, warehouses and Shopify

        Job Information

        • Terms of employment: Full-Time
        • Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 + bonus
        • Location: NYC, in-office 2x / week
