“One of my all-time favorite moisturizers is Oat So Simple Water Cream. This moisturizer does a wonderful job of relieving my skin of any redness [and] just calms everything down. It has a very nice cream-gel formula which is super velvety. I am absolutely in love with the texture. I honestly cannot recommend this enough to any of my friends and I actually have like two other backups. I love it that much! One tip that I can give if you are on the drier side is to couple this with the Great Barrier Relief serum to really wake up in the morning and have super hydrated skin.”

Not a Big fan of New Ingredient

Loved The oat so simple original formula. The new ingredient, I understand it traps moisture better, But My skin did not like it, my skin started gettint more dehydrated & Red. I’m on the search for a new Holy grail moisturizer :/ again. I’m glad it works for other people. Just not for me anymore. It was good While it lasted. Though i pray you never change the Cleanser formula or kale aya AHA. Those are my holy grails! I’ll keep repurchasing those products still . I would recommend oat cream for someone with dry skin. As an oily skin folk, not a big fan of the new formula unfortunately:(

Oat So Simple Water Cream

I've had this product for about two weeks now, and it's safe to say that I love it! I recently had problems with a moisturizer, and had been flaring up due to allergies, and I decided to see if this moisturizer was safe and gentle enough for my skin, and sure enough it was! It's helped a lot with controlling my flare ups.

Squalane isn't a good enough occlusive on its own

I really wish I had loved this product like I have the other KraveBeauty products I've tried in the past. I love the brand's ethos of keeping its product selection simple and gentle yet effective. However, this moisturizer fell short in being effective. I love the inclusion of squalane in the formula but there's too much weight put onto its occlusive abilities, particularly with it being used alone as THE occlusive in the overall formula. I initially loved how lightweight OSSWC felt on my skin yet nourishing. It definitely gave that 'water burst' effect that water creams are meant to. The texture is also so dreamy (literally my dream texture for a moisturizer), an airy, cloud-type cream that is easily spreadable. But that's where the high praises end. I initially picked this up as a summer moisturizer because I have pretty oily skin and live in a very humid environment, especially around this time of year. Again, the initial application feels like heaven, but then those feelings quickly fade. Even when mixing Great Barrier Relief with this moisturizer or layering it on before, the squalane in the formula doesn't feel like an adequate enough occlusive to prevent transepidermal water loss. I feel like my skin is tightening 15-30 minutes after applying this moisturizer, no matter how much I pile on the hydration before it. I really hope Krave considers tweaking the formula with an additional occlusive before moving onto another moisturizer in the future. I feel like OSSWC…
