It tested my confidence a lot. I tried it all, like I cut bangs to hide my forehead acne at the time. I would wear a lot of pimple patches and do my best to try to conceal them. It was hard to embrace a bare face, because along with acne, the hyperpigmentation you deal with also, really just strips you away of your confidence.

I’ve always been skeptical of applying oils to my face because I have combination skin with an oily T-zone. I remember the oil feeling very lightweight and not heavy as compared to other oils I tried, like jojoba. It absorbed into my skin immediately, giving me a healthy glow that lasted through the day. At first, I was just satisfied with the moisture it gave my skin in my dry areas, but then I started to notice the breakouts started coming fewer and eventually ceased and healed altogether.
