For Beet The Sun we carried out a total of 6 tests: 2 FDA Broad Spectrum Tests, 2 FDA SPF Static Tests, 1 ISO 24444 (2019 version) and 1 ISO 24442. It’s common to only perform these tests once, but we knew it was important for you to be extra clear.The Broad Spectrum Test and ISO 24442 helps measure UVA protection and results in the “+++” in the PA value. Through these tests, we found that Beet The Sun can protect against 88 to 94% of UVA rays!
The SPF Determination Test (AKA the FDA Method and the ISO 24444:2019) measures UVB protection and results in the SPF rating value. For Beet The Sun, we found the exact rating to be 42 & 43 which fell under our projected 40 SPF rating.

I love this sunscreen. I typically don’t write reviews but I feel so strongly about this. I tried about 5 sunscreens before trying this one. I was initially drawn to the cute packaging and unique beet formula. I normally break out and itch from sunscreens within a few minutes of applying, but this the first one that hasn’t caused me any type of reaction. It has a nice non greasy finish and zero white-cast. I’ve been searching for a while but this I finally found what I’ve been looking for <3.

Oh my God! This is so good. I'm so glad I took advantage of the sale to buy 2 of them. When I put it on my skin, I don't have to rub it for too long before it melts into my skin. It's, also, not greasy and makes my skin look like silk. What a product, amazing stuff. Try it, if you can afford to, you won't regret it. I'm sure if I can again, I'll repurchase but if not I'll be glad I once did

My absolute favorite sunscreen. As a fair red-head, I’ve tried a LOT and I love the lightweight feel and easy blend of this. Feels so great on the skin. It’s also the only sunscreen I can get my boyfriend to wear.
