The color and texture of Great Barrier Relief may naturally vary slightly from batch to batch. No worries! This is a normal occurrence when using naturally-derived ingredients and it does not impact the efficacy of the formula.
NOTE: Great Barrier Relief does contain 10% Tamanu Oil, which is derived from Tamanu nuts. Though most people don’t have issues using this ingredient, people with nut allergies could have a potential reaction. If you think your skin will react, we recommend performing a 24-hour patch test on your wrist and neck first and slowly integrating GBR into your routine thereafter. If you do experience an allergic reaction, stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention if needed.

I used and loved GBR years ago before the package/formula change. I would even go so far as to call it one of my HGs, but had to stop buying it due to falling on hard times. Now that I'm in a better financial situation, I decided to start buying it again since it worked so well for me in the past. Unfortunately, not only has the packaging changed for the worst, but also the formula. I used it last night and woke up with raw, red skin and severely swollen eyes. My skin barrier has been completely stripped. I'm extremely disappointed that a formula that worked so well for others has been needlessly modified. I will not be shopping from this brand again.
P.S I have no known nut allergies.

This product has brought glow back to my skin. To me it smells similar to celery juice. Very earthy smelling. I know that may turn some people away but the results completely outweigh this negative. I will be repurchasing.

When I opened my bottle the product exploded. Also no way is there is over 1.oz. of product. They changed the bottle. The product is in a little plastic thing and the bottle is empty. Its like a sample size sold as full bottle. I will not repurchase from krave beauty again. First the sunscreen incident now this. There are much products and companies to purchase from.

We're so sorry to hear your Great Barrier Relief bottle exploded after taking the lid off. The packaging of the Great Barrier Relief is designed to keep the formula sealed inside a silicone insert that looks like a balloon; the insert is airless and opening the bottle will cause air to rush in and spill the formula. Breaking it open will also irreversibly damage the packaging so you can’t use or reseal the product.
