Great Body Relief does contain 5% Tamanu Oil, which is derived from Tamanu nuts. Though most people don’t have issues using this ingredient, people with nut allergies could have a potential reaction. I’ve been using this product throughout almost seven years and have been so happy with this cream. That’s why I’ve bought so many tubes. Now I finally ran out and bought a new one. Unfortunately I break more out and my skin gets worse of the creme. Like they’ve changed the formula and made it more thick. Before it was way better silky lightweights. :-( I post a picture of the old version that I’ve been so happy with, even though I know the opening is wider and have been critized. Also I think they have out less in the tube. 😭

I was unsure if this was what was causing flareups for my eczema so I tried it a couple times to make sure but it really exacerbated my eczema prone spots. I also did a back of neck test prior to using it but that didn’t cause any reaction, only the eczema prone areas. I never had the same issue with the Great Barrier Relief, so I was quite surprised to see my body react to this like that. Would appreciate if the product could be tested and updated if it is not good for sensitive / eczema skin as I do see some other similar feedback!

Unfortunately, if you have sensitive and/or eczema prone skin I would be cautious about buying this. It broke me out in a horrible, bumpy rash. It was very unexpected, because the Great Barrier Relief face serum saved my skin! So while I can’t recommend this product, I do still highly recommend the Great Barrier Relief face serum, the 24 carrot retinal, and the oat so simple water cream for the sensitive skin/eczema girlies out there!

love the serum and THIS lotion is a game changer! i’m someone that uses exfoliating body washes / lotions to get rid of my textured skin, so i needed a way to protect my barrier after the fact. i lightly applied it as my final step and it didn’t leave a sticky feeling. my body skin’s barrier definitely feels wayyyy more resilient since i started using it. can’t recommend this enough!

There’s a strong scent to this lotion. I’ve used it twice and it irritated the eczema on my hands but works okay on my body otherwise.
It does keep the skin hydrated but I can’t overlook the scent.
