The color and texture of Great Barrier Relief may naturally vary slightly from batch to batch. No worries! This is a normal occurrence when using naturally-derived ingredients and it does not impact the efficacy of the formula.
NOTE: Great Barrier Relief does contain 10% Tamanu Oil, which is derived from Tamanu nuts. Though most people don’t have issues using this ingredient, people with nut allergies could have a potential reaction. If you think your skin will react, we recommend performing a 24-hour patch test on your wrist and neck first and slowly integrating GBR into your routine thereafter. If you do experience an allergic reaction, stop using the product immediately and seek medical attention if needed.

This product has brought glow back to my skin. To me it smells similar to celery juice. Very earthy smelling. I know that may turn some people away but the results completely outweigh this negative. I will be repurchasing.

When I opened my bottle the product exploded. Also no way is there is over 1.oz. of product. They changed the bottle. The product is in a little plastic thing and the bottle is empty. Its like a sample size sold as full bottle. I will not repurchase from krave beauty again. First the sunscreen incident now this. There are much products and companies to purchase from.

We're so sorry to hear your Great Barrier Relief bottle exploded after taking the lid off. The packaging of the Great Barrier Relief is designed to keep the formula sealed inside a silicone insert that looks like a balloon; the insert is airless and opening the bottle will cause air to rush in and spill the formula. Breaking it open will also irreversibly damage the packaging so you can’t use or reseal the product.

In my experience, GBR is the only serum on the market that works wonders for my skin. I have been using this serum, and only this serum, for the past 4 years. It changed my skin, healed my broken barrier, and helped me regain confidence in my skin. It may or may not work the same for you, but I recommend giving it a chance :)

I'm in the water a lot and my poor skin gets dry and sensitive due to the chlorine. I use this after my lotion and it feels like a bouncy barrier even the next day- it's awesome. I wouldn't recommend if you have oily skin, but for chlorine stripped skin this is amazing!
I recommend waiting for the "Oat So Simple Water Cream" to fully dry on your face before applying this, as I did notice a difference. If you're putting this on before bed (which I totally recommend) try and wait for this to fully dry as well. Depending on your environment it's taken me 30 minutes for the Oat Cream and 30 minutes for Great Barrier Relief on humid nights.

I had previously used this serum in 2020 and don’t remember any bad reactions, so I re-bought recently specifically to help with redness on my cheeks.
However from the first use it’s flared up my redness & made my cheeks feel hot. My skin is also only getting more dry using this in combination with the oat so simple cream.
Unfortunately just not for me this time? Not sure if it’s had a formula change or not since.
