A gentle, antioxidant-rich day fluid that protects your skin from harsh environmental stressors. The Beet Shield is a lightweight, non-white cast leaving formula that’s charged with beet root extract and antioxidants to fight against the free radicals so you don’t turn beet-red.
* This is the same formula as KraveBeauty Beet The Sun SPF 50+ PA++++ that's available in Korea
Modern life can be stressful so let’s not ‘beet’ around the bush. Regardless of gender, age, skin tone, skin type, we all need a good day fluid that protects our skin from the brightest star.
*Daytime use only*
Application guide: Monday through Sunday, every morning. Apply a generous amount evenly onto face, neck, and chest. The Beet Shield comes in as the LAST STEP of your skincare routine, after your moisturizer. Apply at least 15 minutes before heading outdoors and reapply as needed.
Pro tip: You can totally ditch a makeup primer when using The Beet Shield.
Beetroot extract
An underrated yet amazingly antioxidant-rich vegetable, the beetroot holds skin enhancing properties like preventing signs of aging, reducing pigmentation and blemishes and moisturization! A true underdog superfood.
Allantoin
Allantoin soothes skin and relieves skin irritation. This is an absolutely wonderful ingredient which brings both moisturizing and soothing relief to a sensitive, inflamed skin.
Vitamin C, Resveratrol, EGCG
This powerful tag team of antioxidants is proven to shield skin against external stressors and neutralize free radicals.

*Alcohol, really?!
In order to ensure that the product performs to its highest degree, we have carefully chosen to include ethanol in our formulation, which may be concerning to some, but let us explain. Ethanol serves many purposes in skin care formulation. We use it to stabilize the UV filters, create a lightweight consistency and as a solvent in our formulation.
It was not used as a mattifying ingredient to dry out your skin, in fact, the formula feels hydrating while leaving your skin a healthy sheen. One thing you can be sure of is that there is nothing in this product that isn’t absolutely necessary or absolutely approved for consumption.
We even tested the final formula and got a result that we had NO irritation on a small test group. (The clinical trial was done by Global Medical Research Center that follows Frosch & Kligman and The Cosmetic Toiletry, and Fragrance Association (CTFA) guideline)
However, if you are someone who’s suffering from rosacea, or severe skin condition we do not recommend that you use The Beet Shield and consult with your healthcare provider before doing so.
No more The Beet Shield? It’s recycling time, fam! We know how confusing recycling can be, so here’s a basic guide:
Step 1: #SkincareCommitment: Use it up and rinse it out. If the antioxidant day fluid doesn’t work for you, give it to a friend or family member. That way there’s no waste and it can go to a better home!
Step 2: Get the deets. Although generally, The Beet Shield is 100% recyclable, in the US, what can and can’t be recycled varies based on the city you live in. Do a quick google search to read up on your city's recycling guide.
Step 3: Chuck it in the (recycling) bin. If you checked your location and you’re good to go, it’s time for it to be recycled! If not, look into organizations, like TerraCycle, to help you properly recycle your beauty products. It’s free (!) and all you have to do is gather your empty products together, print a recycling label and ship it out. That’s it! They’ll take care of the rest for you.
FYI, here are all the materials used to create The Beet Shield. Each number is a resin identification code, which recycling plants use to know what kind of plastic it is and how it should be processed. PE stands for Polyethylene, EVOH stands for Ethylene-Vinyl Alcohol Copolymer, PET stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate, and LDPE stands for Linear Low-Density Polyethylene — these are all forms of plastics.
Bottle, cap: PE, Adhesive, EVOH
Bag: PET (1), LLDPE (4)
